The hummingbirds in my neighborhood love to sing while perched on fern pine branches, chase each other mid-flight, and drink freely from the glass feeders on our balcony. They've come to trust my mother and I when we sit out on the balcony and will pose for many pictures. One of my new favorite activities includes singing, "colibrà colibrÃ, ¿dónde estás colibrÃ?" They now respond to my calls with their own sounds.
